Greg Zanis created this new cross for the 1-year 'anniversary' of the shootings. There are 13 columbines painted on the front of the cross to honor the students and coach killed and the dove on the crossbeam holds two more columbines in its beak for the killers. The back says: 'We are all Columbine'.

Rocks were placed where the crosses once stood on Rebel Hill during the 2001 'anniversary' of the school shootings; city officials wouldn't allow the actual crosses to be brought back for the memorial. Only 13 rocks were placed. There was a reading of the names of those killed at Columbine -- 13 names were read. At 11:17 a period of silence was observed, the time the shooting began.
