The photo of Eric Harris that most news channels aired. It was an outdated yearbook picture from his junior year. Eric looked quite different from that yearbook photo during the massacre at Columbine High School. He looked more like what you see in the screencaps from his home videos further down this page: Buzzcut hair, black clothes, sunglasses. At the time it was the only public domain photo the news could get, so it's what they used. It, combined with the outdated photo of Dylan Klebold, the suburban shell shock of this tragedy was magnified. How could two "boys next door" do something like that? And more to the point: Why?
